MARCELO DE FRANCO CONCLUDED THE DOCTORAL IN IMMUNOLOGY BY THE UNIVERSITY OF SÃO PAULO IN 1992 AND HIS POST-DOCTORAL AT THE INSTITUTE CURIE PARIS IN 1993. HE WAS SCIENTIFIC RESEARCHER LEVEL 6 OF THE INSTITUTE BUTANTAN AND DEPUTY DIRECTOR FROM 2011 TO 2017, BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR THE INNOVATION MANAGEMENT, PARTNERSHIPS OF PRODUCTION DEVELOPMENT OF VACCINES AND MONOCLONAL ANTIBODIES.HE WAS FULL SUPERVISOR AT THE UNIVERSITY OF SÃO PAULO (IMMUNOLOGY) FROM 1997 TO 2022. PUBLISHED 65 COMPLETE ARTICLES, 33 SUMMARIZED ARTICLES IN SPECIALIZED PERIODICS AND 205 WORKS IN CONGRESSES. HE ORDERED 9 MASTER DISSERTATIONS AND 8 DOCTORAL THESES. RECEIVED 4 AWARDS. In an attempt to further elucidate the involvement of inflammation in carcinogenesis, genetically selected mice to develop an maximum (AIRmax) or minimal (AIRmin)acute inflammatory reaction are used in several studies that promote the induction of tumor initiation and progression in the skin.
