Graduated in Biological Sciences at Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" - UNESP, campus of Botucatu. Master in Zoology by the Postgraduation program in Biological Sciences (Zoology) of the Institute of Biology from UNESP-Botucatu. In 2012 he started as a scientific research intern at the Laboratory of Parasitology of Wild Animals (LAPAS), during this period he developed three scientific initiation projects focusing on taxonomy and ecology of fish parasites. Currently, he is a PhD student at the Postgraduation program in Biological Sciences (Zoology), Institute of Biosciences, Unesp, Botucatu campus, with emphasis on the taxonomic study of parasitic ergasilids (Copepoda, Ergasilidae).
