Statistician by Instituto de Matemática e Estatística from Universidade de São Paulo (IMEUSP) (1979), Master in Remote Sensing by Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) (1988), Doctor and Associate Professor in Transportation Engineering by Universidade de São Paulo (EPUSP) (1996 and 2005). Nowadays is Associate Professor from the Transportation Engineering Departament/ Escola Politécnica/ USP. Your research subjects are concerned with Geoprocessing (GIS) and Remote Sensing, including: spatial data quality;orbital remote sensing and image classification processes in urban (land use) and transportation applications and environment applications.
