Sandra Maria Pereira da Silva

Graduated in Agronomy from the University of Taubaté (1991), master's degree in Agronomy (Plant Physiology) from the Federal University of Lavras (1994) and doctorate in Agronomy (Horticulture) from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2003). She is currently a scientific researcher at the APTA Regional Pole of the Paraíba Valley of the São Paulo Agribusiness Technology Agency of the São Paulo State Secretariat of Agriculture. Develops research activities in the following areas: phytotechnics of medicinal and aromatic plants, native and exotic; ethnobotany of medicinal plants; public policies on medicinal plants and phytotherapy in the public health system; production of essential oils and hydrolates for different applications (agricultural inputs, gastronomy / cuisine, aromatherapy, natural cosmetics).
