Metalllurgical Engineer graduated at the Federal University of Ouro Preto (2011). PhD student at Aeronautic Technological Institute (ITA) and member of ITASMART Group. Has experience in Physical Metallurgy, focused on the microstructural characterization of metals and its alloys through Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) and Electron Backscattered Diffraction (EBSD). At Aeronautic and Mechanical Engineering field works with melting of NiTi, NiTiAg, NiTiNb Shape Memory Alloys and Maraging Steels (Electron Beam Melting, Vacuum Induction Melting and Vacuum Arc Remelting), termomechanical processing (forging and rolling) and Martensitic Transformations. This "Doutorado Direto" project aims to access the feasibility of the production and thermo-mechanical processing, with a subsequent microstructural characterization, of the NiTiAg ternary shape memory alloys.
