Carlos Junior Gontijo Rosa

He holds a BA in Performing Arts from the State University of Campinas (2008), an MA in Literary Theory and History from the State University of Campinas (2011), a PhD in Portuguese Literature from the University of São Paulo (2017) and a post-doctorate in Brazilian Literature from the University of São Paulo (2019). He has worked as a Professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and at the Timor-Lorosa'e National University. He was a Researcher at the Centre for Theatre Studies at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon, in Portugal, with a Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation Research Grant for Foreigners (Aug/2012-Jun/2013), and a Researcher at the Instituto del Teatro de Madrid of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid with a Research Internship Abroad Grant (BEPE-FAPESP, Dec/2014-Mar/2015). He has had research grants during his undergraduate (IC, CNPq), master's (CNPq) and PhD (FAPESP and CAPES). He is currently a postdoctoral fellow in Language Studies at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Beth Brait with funding from the Foundation for Research Support of the State of São Paulo (FAPESP).
