Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from the University of São Paulo (1986), Master's degree in Physical Education (area of Biodynamics) at the University of São Paulo (1994) and PhD in Physical Education (Biodynamic area) at the University of São Paulo (1999). with a research internship (Doctorate Sandwich) at the University of Wisconsin, Madison - USA. He is currently a Ph.D. Professor in the Department of Biodynamics at the Physical Education and Sport School of the University of São Paulo. Coordinator of the Laboratory of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of Exercise, responsible for the disciplines of Exercise Biochemistry and Exercise Physiology II.
