Paulo D'Amora

Graduated in Biological Sciences Medical Specialty / Biomedicine (2002) and in Medicine (2011) by Escola Paulista de Medicina of the Federal University of São Paulo (EPM-UNIFESP). He holds a Master's degree (2005) and a PhD (2009) in Translational Medicine from the Department of Gynecology of EPM-UNIFESP. He is currently a Associate Researcher and Member of the Board of Directors of the Laboratory of Molecular Gynecology and Metabolomycs at the Department of Gynecology of EPM-UNIFESP. Dr D'Amora has scientific experience in Gynecological Oncology, with emphasis on aspects of Cellular, Molecular Biology and Metabolomics applied to these areas. He is a scientific reviewer and member of the editorial board of several journals in the area of Gynecological Oncology, Endocrine Gynecology, Reproductive Medicine, Molecular Biology and Metabolomics. Dr D'Amora participated in several Masters and PhD thesis judgements, as well as in the Orientation and Co-Orientation of undergraduate and graduate students in the Department of Gynecology of EPM-UNIFESP. Dr D'Amora was a Postdoctoral Fellow of the Division of Gynecological Oncology at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) and is currently Senior Medical Scientist for Rational Therapeutics Laboratory and Principal Investigator in Brazil of a Multi-Centric International Clinical Trial on Ovarian Cancer, a project funded under the Young Investigator Award in Emerging Centers of FAPESP.
