VDM graduated from Universidade Paulista. PhD in Chemical Oceanography, by the Laboratory of Marine Organic Chemistry, at the Oceanographic Institute - USP. Experience in preparing and executing projects for environmental conservation, rescue and rehabilitation of aquatic fauna. Integrates research projects, financed by development agencies with themes related to persistent organic pollutants and health aspects. Has international improvement in two institutions: University of Florida and Sea World Adventure Parks. Author and reviewer of national and international scientific journals. Nominated by the Oceanographic Institute for the 2015 Capes de Teses award and for the Outstanding Tese award (5th edition) at the University of São Paulo in 2016. Acts in the coordination of veterinary medicine in events of environmental emergencies. She is currently a socio - environmental director at iGUi Ecologia, a partner - director at BW Consultoria Veterinária and president of the NGO Instituto BW. With ICS 100, 200 and 300.
