I am graduated in Biological Sciences (UNESP / Botucatu, SP, 1989), Master in Pharmacology and Chemistry of Natural Products by the Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Technology (LTF) of the UFPb (1993) and PhD in Functional and Molecular Biology : Human Physiology) by UNICAMP (1999). I was a Full Professor at UNITINS (State University of Tocantins) from 1992 to 2001. In 2001 I joined UNESP and I am currently an associate professor at the Department of Physiology, Institute of Biosciences at UNESP / Botucatu. Since 2007 I am a Researcher at CNPq and I am currently is Pq 1C. I am a co-author of two books Medicinal Plants in the Amazon and Medicinal Plants in the Amazon and in the Atlantic Forest published by the publisher of UNESP. I am accredited as a tutor in two postgraduate programs: Pharmacology and Biotechnology and General and Applied Biology (biomolecules) by UNESP Botucatu. I have experience in pre-clinical research in the area of Natural Products, working mainly on the following topics: development of products aimed at human health with therapeutic purpose.
