Environmental Engineer, graduated from the School of Engineering in Piracicaba, with a Masters and PhD in Science, with emphasis on Soils and Plant Nutrition, from the Luiz de Queiroz School of Agriculture (ESALQ) of the University of São Paulo (USP). I specialise in soil geochemistry with a focus on environmental and medical geochemistry, heavy metal speciation and chemical processes in the surface environment. I have expertise in in vitro oral and respiratory bioaccessibility/bioavailability methods, as well as skills in human health risk assessment, non-specific sequential extraction and chemometric approaches. I am a Postdoctoral Fellow funded by FAPESP in the Department of Soil Science at ESALQ-USP. Currently, I am in an overseas postdoctoral placement as a BEPE/FAPESP fellow at the British Geological Survey (BGS), Keyworth, United Kingdom. During this period, I have actively collaborated and participated in the development of projects alongside the medical and environmental geochemistry team. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
