Graduated in Nursing from the Federal University of Acre - UFAC (2011) and PhD in Sciences (Pathogen-Host Relationship Biology) from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of São Paulo - ICB / USP with an internship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and sandwich period at the London School of Hygiene Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) (2018). Currently holds a postdoctoral at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences - USP. She has experience in Parasitology, focusing on gestational malaria, acting on the following subjects: malaria, gestational malaria, maternal and child health and information systems. She is interested in the areas of Parasitology, Immunology, Epidemiology and Maternal and Child Health, as well as in the areas of Clinical Research and Public Health.Graduated in Nursing from the Federal University of Acre (2011) and PhD in Sciences (PPG Pathogen-Host Relationship Biology) from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of São Paulo (2018) with an internship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention-CDC , Atlanta/USA (2015) and sandwich period at the London School of Hygiene Tropical Medicine-LSHTM, London/England (2016 to 2017). Currently holds a post-doctorate at ICB/USP focusing on diagnosis (biomarkers for placental malaria) and treatment (study of resistance to antimalarial drugs). She completed a 1-year research internship at the Faculty of Infectious and Tropical Diseases at LSHTM, London / England (2022 to 2023), in which she gained experience in bioinformatics, Plasmodium genomics and modern genetic sequencing techniques (MinION/Nanopore). She has experience in Parasitology, focusing on gestational malaria, acting on the following topics: malaria, gestational malaria, Plasmodium genomics, maternal and child health, information systems. She is interested in the areas of Parasitology, Genetics, Epidemiology and Maternal and Child Health, as well as in the areas of Clinical Research and Public Health. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
