PH.D in Musicology from "ECA - USP" (2009), which resulted in the book "Brazilian Orchestral Percussion: editorial and interpretative problems", published by Editora UNESP in 2012. Master's degree in Music: Percussion from "Eastman School of Music - University of Rochester" (1990). Bachelor's degree in Percussion from "Instituto de Artes da UNESP" (1987), ) and concluded the Percussion course at Tatuí Music Conservatory in 1982. Since 1993 he is a percussion teacher at "Institute of Artes at UNESP", where he also co-directs PIAP Percussion Ensemble. He was a member of São Paulo Symphony Orchestra (OSESP) from 1994 to 2022 and has taught at the main Music Festivals in Brazil such as FEMUSC and Festival de Campos do Jordão. Eduardo has taught clinics and masterclasses in several countries and he has recorded a large number of orchestral and chamber music, and has played many international tours with various groups.
