Bachelor's degree in Percussion from "Instituto de Artes da UNESP" (1987), master's degree in Music: Percussion from "Eastman School of Music - University of Rochester" (1990) and PH.D in Musicology from "Escola de Comunicações e Artes - USP" (2009), which resulted in the book "Brazilian Orchestral Percussion: editorial and interpretative problems", published by Editora UNESP in 2012. He is a member of São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (OSESP) since 1994 and since 1993 teaches percussion at "Instituto de Artes da UNESP", where he also co-directs PIAP Percussion Ensemble. Eduardo has taught at the main Music Festivals in Brazil such as FEMUSC, Campos do Jordão and CIVEBRA and gave clinics and masterclasses in several countries. He also has recorded a large number of of orchestral and chamber music, and has played many international tours with various groups. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
