Bachelor in Nursing by the Department of Nursing of Escola Paulista de Medicina (EPM) in 1984. Qualified in Medical-Surgical Nursing by EPM in 1985; Specialist in Hospital Administration by IPH in 1990 and Perioperative Nursing by Escola de Enfermagem da Universidade de São Paulo (EEUSP) in 1991. Master in Nursing (2002) and Doctor in Nursing in Adult Health by (EEUSP) (2009) and Postdoctoral in Neurosciences by Instituto de Teaching and Research Albert Einstein. She is currently Adjunct Professor of the Nursing Department of the Center for Biological Sciences and Health of the Federal University of São Carlos. Participates in the research group "Stress, coping and work" of EEUSP and leader of the research group "Research in Wellbeing" of UFSCAR has experience in Nursing, with emphasis on Nursing in Adult and Elderly Health, working mainly on the following topics: surgical and perioperative nursing care, stress and well-being in adults and the elderly.
