Doctor and Master degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences with emphasis on pharmaceutical chemistry, organic chemistry of natural compounds, drug planning and cosmetology from Universidade Estadual Paulista ?Júlio de Mesquita Filho? (UNESP). Graduated in Pharmacy-Biochemistry from the Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP). Pharmacist in clinical research at Hospital das Clínicas de São Paulo (USP-SP). Trainee-teacher for the pharmacy course at UNESP (undergraduate), and professor in the Pharmacy Technical Course (CETEC), in the Maquiphysics and Microway Vocational Courses Pre-Entry Courses. Experience in pharmacies and drugstores. Experience in teaching classes for undergraduate, technical and vocational courses in pharmacy and other biological sciences courses, elementary and secondary education and pre-university courses, in addition to preparing theoretical and practical didactic material, and other activities relevant to teaching. Experience in planning, synthesis, characterization and in vitro evaluation of new organic compounds. Presentation of works at national and international congresses and symposia, with several awards. Participation in evaluation committees of final works of the pharmacy-biochemistry course at UNESP and in international symposium. Articles published in the areas of research and development of new drugs, cosmetology and clinical biochemistry. Interviews granted on topics related to the area of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Solid experience in the areas of quality assurance and control, and laboratory analysis in the chemical and biological areas (UPLC, HPLC, atomic absorption spectroscopy, mass and nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometry, infrared and ultraviolet spectrophotometry, automatic titration, dissolution, thermogravimetric measurements, chemical degradation studies and assays of antioxidant and photoprotective activities).
