Research Scholar at the University of Florida Beef Cattle Center working in the area of natural pastures. Agronomist and Master in Soil Agronomy-Science from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro. Ph.D. in Animal Science from UNESP-Jaboticabal having been a FAPESP fellow. He carried out an internship abroad with a BEPE-FAPESP scholarship at the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland. He did a postdoctoral internship at Unesp Jaboticabal between 2016 and 2021. Agricultural Technician by the Federal Institute of Goiano - Ceres campus. Since the age of 14, he has been conducting research in Forage and Pastures. He has published 43 articles in journals, 146 abstracts in events' proceedings and 7 book chapters. His articles feature a H=11 index on the web of science and more than 828 citations in Google Scholar. He co-directed 9 doctoral theses. He co-directed 11 master's dissertations. He guided 5 scientific initiations. Received 7 awards and/or honors. His interest includes forage and pastures, greenhouse gas emission research and global climate change, its areas of interest are quantification, mitigation, modeling and balance of greenhouse gases related to animal production, feed and pastoral systems.
