He completed a master's degree through the Postgraduate Program in Multimedia (Photography and Cinema), from the Arts Institute of the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) and a PhD in Social Anthropology, with an emphasis on Audiovisual Anthropology, from the Department of Philosophy and Human Sciences (IFCH) of Unicamp, both research funded by FAPESP. He studies subjects related to Art, Image (Photography, Cinema, Drawing, Video, etc.), Visual Anthropology, religion, symbolism, rituals, visual and verbal narratives and Japanese culture/"culture". Its focus is on the relations between the notions and the concepts of "experience" and "experimentation" and on the reflections about the potentialities of "assembling" "spellings" as methodology and epistemology in the making of ethnographic-anthropological knowledge. He has experience in digital journalism, radio, video editing and photojournalism. He has a great interest in the study of the various visual "forms of expression", especially in Photography and Cinema. He worked as a photography teacher in the Visual Arts course at FAAL (Limeira), where he also supervised course completion works that deal with contemporary photography and the intersections with other forms of artistic expression. He is a member of the "Nucleus of Visual Anthropology" (NAVISUAL/UFRGS), of the "Anthropological Laboratory of Spelling and Image (LA'GRIMA/UNICAMP), of the" Laboratory of Teaching, Research and Production in Anthropology of Image and Sound "(LEPPAIS/UFPel) and the newly created "Red de Investigación en Antropologia AudioVisual" (RIAA), which brings together anthropologists and anthropologists from different countries, who intend to form a wide network of researchers in the field of Audiovisual Anthropology. He has been an effective member of the Brazilian Association of Anthropology (ABA) since 2018. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
