Fernando Garcia Nicodemos

Birthplace: Brazil

Graduated in Electrical Engineering from Centro Universitário FEI in 2002. Master in Electronic Engineering in 2007 and Doctorate in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering in 2013, both from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA, Brasil). Since 2000, he has improved its scientific research skills, engaging in various cooperation projects within the industry. In 2006, he founded the technology-based company NCB Sistemas Embarcados, where until then he is CTO and coordinates research and development projects. At NCB, several drone products are developed to automate the releasing process of biological inputs for Precision Pest Biological Control, in Brazil and abroad. His main research interests are in the field of embedded systems, verification and validation of critical systems, high-performance embedded computing, real-time operating systems, design using hardware description languages (VHDL) for programmable logic devices (FPGA), Artificial Intelligence and computer vision.
