Architect and Urbanist (B.Sc.), State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), 2014. Doctor of Science in Architecture and Urbanism (thesis title: "Designing Urban: the legacy of Rio 2016 Olympics in Barra da Tijuca"), University of São Paulo (FAU-USP), 2019. My main research topics include urban design and megaevents, namely the architectural, urban planning and urban design legacies of the Olympics, with a particular interest on Rio 2016's urban design legacies. Member of the Research Group "PC3 - Pensamento Crítico e Cidade Contemporânea" ( Interest in Architectural Design and Theory, as well as Urban Planning and Urban Design Theory. Additional areas of interest include the relationship between Architecture and other arts, like Cinema. Founder of Los.Arq, an architectural practice dedicated to architecture and interior design projects. In addition, Renata is a researcher, lecturer and consultant for the private sector. Lecturer on undergraduate and post-graduate level, since 2020. Courses taught: "Architectural Design", "Sustainable Construction", "Digital Design" and "Integrative Topics" (focus: urbanism) on undergraduate level. Teacher at Arquitec, Campinas, in the technical course of Interior Design.
