Graduated in Biomedical Sciences at Universidade Estadual de Londrina, Master of Science with emphasis in Bioengineering at Universidade de São Paulo and PhD in Bioengineering at University of São Paulo. Former non-employee PhD student at Wellman Center for Photomedicine - Harvard Medical School. Has experience in Biomedical Sciences, with emphasis on Biochemistry, Physiology, Pathological Anatomy and Clinical Pathology (specifically in Oncology, Free Radicals), as well as in Bioengineering, specifically on the research field of Interaction of Physical Agents with Biological Systems. 10 years of experience in developing metallic and protein nanoparticles for biomedical purposes. Lucas is currently receiving a post-doc scholarship from Fapesp at the Institute for Energy and Nuclear Research Institute - IPEN/CNEN, where he teaches as a volunteer professor in two post-graduation subjects: TNM5843 - Nanomaterials in Medicine and Radiopharmacy: Synthesis, Characterization and Applications I; TNM5844 - Nanomaterials in Medicine and Radiopharmacy: Synthesis, Characterization and Applications II. Furthermore, Lucas is a contract professor in the post-graduation subjects "Physiology of exercise" and "Biomedical aesthetics" (UNIFACEAR) and "Electricity" (Faculdade São Francisco de Assis).
