He holds a Bachelor's degree in Pure Mathematics (2003) and a Master's degree in Mathematics (2005) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). He holds a PhD in Mathematics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2009), where he held a Post-Doctoral internship (January-August) (2010). He is currently Associate Professor III at the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of São Paulo (IME-USP). Has experience in Mathematics and Mathematical Physics, working mainly on the following subjects: Rigorous Statistical Mechanics, Ergodic Theory (with emphasis on Thermodynamic Formalism), Graph Theory and Combinatorics.
