B.F.M. Almeida holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT) in 2008, working during the Curricular Internship at the Veterinary Clinical Laboratory. He completed his Veterinary Diagnostic Residency with a focus on Veterinary Clinical Pathology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Araçatuba (FMVA-Unesp) from 2009 to 2011. He obtained a Master's and Ph.D. in Animal Science from FMVA-Unesp, focusing on Veterinary Clinical Pathology, Oxidative Stress, Immunology, and Canine Visceral Leishmaniasis. He has experience in the field of Veterinary Medicine, with a focus on Veterinary Clinical Pathology, primarily in the areas of Immunology, Microbiology, and Veterinary Clinics. Currently, he is a professor of Veterinary Medicine at the University Center of Integrated Colleges of Ourinhos (Unifio), responsible for the subjects of Veterinary Clinical Pathology and Veterinary Immunology, as well as overseeing the services of Veterinary Clinical Pathology, Immunology, Microbiology, Parasitology, and Molecular Biology at the Roque Quagliato Veterinary Hospital/Unifio. He is also a faculty member of the Master's and Ph.D. Program in Animal Science at FMVA-Unesp. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
