Bachelor in Physics at Universidade de São Paulo (1975) and PhD in Physics (particles and fields) at Universidade de São Paulo (1977). Has experience in the following subjects: gravitation, qcd, black holes, dark energy and dark matter, integrable models, classical general relativity, and perturbations there of, Dark Energy and Dark Mattes, Black Holes and holography. Received the Weisskopf prize from the Abdus Salam Institute, Trieste, in 1992. Advised 29 PhD students, 30 MsC and 20 post docs. Acquired around 7900 citations according to google scholar. Is the PI of the BINGO Radio-Telescope, that is being built to measure Baryonic Acoustic Oscillations through the 21 cm line and other astrophysical objects, mainly Fast Radio Bursts (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
