Graduated in Agronomy from the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Julio de Mesquita Filho" - UNESP (1984), master's degree in Agronomy (Plant Protection) the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Julio de Mesquita Filho" - UNESP (1992) and PhD in Agronomy (Agriculture) the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Julio de Mesquita Filho" - UNESP (1996). Did post doctoral internship at the Natural Products Utilization Unity USDA (Oxford, Mississippi, USA) December 1, 2007 to February 28, 2008. He is currently a member of BioAtiva - Pesquisas e Compostos Bioativos Ltda company.
