Graduated in Pharmaceutical Science and Industrial Pharmacy from the UNIOESTE (2005), Master and PhD in Science: Biochemistry from the Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto - USP (2012). Part of his PhD was carried out at the Department of Biological Engineering, University of Minho, Campus of Gualtar, Braga, Portugal (2010), where he studied the production of phytases by filamentous fungi in bioreactors. Postdoctorate from Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras de Ribeirão Preto - USP and from Centro Nacional de Pesquisa em Energia e Materiais/CNPEM/MCTI/CTBE. Currently he is Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences of Unioeste. He has experience in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology and Biotechnology, specifically in the production, purification and characterization of enzymes from filamentous fungi, such as glycosyl hydrolases and phytases. He also is studying the deletion of genes to create mutant strains with high secretion of enzymes. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
