Fernando Atique is Associate Professor of History, Space and Built Heritage at Federal University of São Paulo - UNIFESP. He holds a bachelor degree on architecture and urbanism (1999), and a master title on Theory and History of Architecture (2002) from USP, Brazil. In the same Institution he became doctor on History and Social Foundations of Architecture and Urbanism (2007). He was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania - Penn, USA, under the supervision of David Bruce Brownlee, at the Department of History of Art (2006). In 2016 he developed a Post-Doctoral period, with a FAPESP's scholarship, in the History Departament of the New York University (NYU), under the supervision of Barbara Weinstein. He is a founding member of the Ibero-American Association of Urban History - AIHU. He has also been a member of ICOMOS Brasil. He is a coordinator of the research Group CAPPH, the acronym for "City, Architecture and Historic Preservation": (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
