Researcher at the Laboratório de Sistemas Integráveis at the Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (LSI -EP-USP) since 2000. She holds a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Tel-Aviv, Israel (1984), a master's degree (2002) and a PhD (2008) in Electrical Engineering from EP-USP. She has extensive experience in research and development, having worked abroad (Israel and the United States) and in Brazil. She has been working since 2003 as a manager of research projects in Interactive Electronic Media applied to Education and Entertainment, as well as Assistive Technology. She is responsible for the development of immersive and interactive installations for Science Museums (Parque CienTec Park and Catavento Cultural e Educacional) that address topics such as astronomy and marine life. She is responsible for the development of educational portals for Music Education and Scientific Initiation ( and for the development of a game that simulates a car race, as well as the development of games for interactive Digital TV. She worked on the development of a control module for electric wheelchairs and on the development of educational games for children with Duchene Muscular Dystrophy. She was responsible for training teachers in the UCA (One Computer per Student) project in schools in the State of São Paulo. She is responsible for creating a platform for massive online courses on Internet of Things ( She is also interested in scientific dissemination projects and projects aimed at identifying and developing talents in Science and Engineering. She participated in the organization of FEBRACE (Feira Brasileira de Ciências e Engenharia) since 2003, where she is responsible for the Scientific Review Committee and the Selection and Evaluation Committee. She participates in the organization of Campus Mobile, a university talent development program. She is interested in contributing to Education with research and development of innovative solutions that awaken in children and young people a taste for studies and an interest in science and engineering.
