Graduated in Biomedicine with qualification in Genetics and Genetic Counseling, Master, PhD and Postdoctoral degree at Universidade Federal de São Paulo. Currently Senior Research of the Postgraduate Program in Health Sciences of the Faculdade de Medicina do ABC, Professor of the Discipline of Genetics, Member of the Comprehensive Care Group for Rare Diseases and Geneticist of the Instituto Ideia Fértil - Center for Human Reproduction and Genetics of the Faculdade de Medicina do ABC. She is also Visiting Researcher at the Instituto Israelita de Ensino e Pesquisa Albert Einstein and Associate Editor in the Basic Research area of the journals Einstein (São Paulo), Humana Reproduction Archives, Frontiers in Reproductive Health, Frontiers in Endocrinology and Italian Journal of Gynæcology & Obstetrics. Is also member of the Global Burden of Disease Collaborator Network. She has experience in the areas of Human and Medical Genetics, Human Cytogenetics, Molecular Biology, Sexual and Reproductive Health, and Prostate Cancer, working mainly on Human Genetics, Assisted Human Reproduction, Infertility, Preimplational Genetic Testing, Endometriosis, Genetic counseling, Rare diseases, and Biomarkers of prostate cancer.
