Bachelor's degree in Nutrition from the Faculty of Public Health at the University of São Paulo - USP. She was a student in a undergraduate research project in the area of neurosciences. She has a master's degree and is currently doing a doctorate at the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP, working with energy metabolism in adipose tissue. She has experience in histological, microbiological, cell culture and molecular biology techniques, working with the following techniques: in situ hybridization, immunofluorescence, confocal microscopy and image analysis, PCR/qPCR, cloning, western blotting, ELISA. She participated in studies about COVID19 related to the infection of adipose tissue by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. She currently dedicates her time to the investigation of mechanisms associated with the circulating molecules responsible for the regulation of UCP1. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
