Associate Professor at the Civil Engineering Department of the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo, supervisor of masters and doctoral degrees, in the Graduate Program in Civil Engineering of the Polytechnic School of USP (PPGEC). Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the Chair of Global Cities, at the Marxe School of Public and International Affairs, Baruch College, City University of New York, in 2022. From 2016 to 2018, she was Technical Advisor to the Office of the Dean of Culture and University Extension, acting in scientific diffusion. She is a Research Productivity Scholar from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). Editor-in-Chief of Urbanism at Built Environment journal. Associate coordinator of the Urban GT of the National Association of Built Environment Technology - ANTAC, from 2016 to 2020. Coordinator of the II National Symposium on Urban Management and Engineering - SINGEURB 2019. Member of the Temporary Commission on Urban Mobility of the Architecture and Urbanism Council of São Paulo, from 2018 to 2020. She is graduated in architecture and urbanism from FAU USP, with a master's degree in environmental management from FSP USP, a master's of science degree in sustainable energy engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology ( KTH), Sweden, and a PhD. in architecture and urbanism also from USP. She also attended graduate studies in urban mobility and the environment at the United Nations Center for Regional Development in Japan as a JICA Scholar Japan International Cooperation Agency. In 2011, she was awarded 2nd place in the Young Scientist Award, in the theme of Sustainable Cities. In 2019, she was awarded by Fulbright. From 2003 to 2011, she was a planning and project analyst for urban and metropolitan transport at the Empresa Metropolitana de Transportes Urbanos de São Paulo. Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and reviewer of scientific journals: PARC Research in Architecture and Construction (FEC UNICAMP), Urban, Planning and Transport Research (Taylor & Francis), Journal of Urban Planning and Development (ASCE), Smart and Sustainable Built Environment (Esmeralda), Complexity (Hidawi), Sustainable Cities and Society (Elsevier), Post FAU USP magazine, URBE - Brazilian Journal of Urban Management, and Transport, from ANPET. Specialties: Urban sustainability; assessment at the neighborhood-scale and urban perimeters of urban development; planning, project, and management of the surroundings of transport stations, urban morphology, urban walkability, instruments and urban systems related population and built density, intersectoral analysis, models and methods for urban assessment and support for urban governance.
