Dr. da Silva earned his B.S. in Environmental Management in 2010 and his M.S. in Soil and Plant Nutrition in 2013, both from the University of Sao Paulo-Brazil, and his Ph.D in the Soil and Water Sciences Department at the University of Florida in 2018. His Ph.D. dissertation title was ?Phytoremediation of arsenic-contaminated soils by Pteris vittata: arsenic removal and biomass disposal?.
