Mário Yoshikazu Miyake

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (1965), bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from Universidade de São Paulo (1971), master's degree in Production Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo (1973) and Ph. D. in Operational Research from LSE-University of London (1977). Researcher from Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnológicas do Estado de São Paulo since January 1983 until may 2022, working with Information Technologies, engaging in Technology Forecasting and Evaluation studies, research projects and participation in international cooperation projects. Coordinator and teacher in the Master Course in Computer Engineering at IPT from september 1997 to december 2017. Coordinator of Educational activities at IPT from September 2006 to September 2011. Teacher in the Master Course in Applied Computing at IPT since september 2020. Until may 2022 was a researcher at CIAM- Center for Information Technology, Automation and Mobility from IPT. Visiting researcher at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Barcelona, Spain, from 06-05-19 to 06-12-2019 with a BPE scholarship from Fapesp inserted in the training project of the Institute of Technological Research of the State of São Paulo - IPT.
