Abstract

The project has as general objective the development of high precision frequency standards, one of the core activities of LNE-SYRTE. This work will be shared between two experiments: The atomic fountain FO2 and the neutral mercury optical clock (Hg clock). Both systems have great importance to the growing of our group in the scientific metrology of time and frequency area, either in the microwave standards domain, already operating in our laboratory, as well as in the optical domain area, prospecting future researchs to be implemented in the Optics and Photonics Research Center. It is important to emphasize that this work is intended for one year, with a complement for the five months period of FAPESP being supplied by the foreign institution. (AU)
