Abstract

The vortices in Bose Einstein Condensates are one of the best signs of the quantum nature of this sample, but some questions still remain unanswered. With the increasing number of nucleated vortices, our group is pioneer on the verification of quantum turbulence in alkali gases. Based on this great scenario, we are delving into studies of the properties of this phenomenon, involving both the dynamics and the stability of these structures. In this work we aim to continue this, but with emphasis on other aspects, involving the interaction of two distinct alkaline condensed species (with the possibility of using different hyper-fine states of the same species).
