The general purpose of this research project is to study the F-region ionospheric drifts over the Brazilian region focalizing their variations with local time, season and solar cycle and during disturbed or not geomagnetic conditions, focusing the local and global processes of the ionosphere-thermosphere-magnetosphere system. The plan of work will be as follows: 1. To get an introductory knowledge about the INPE ionospheric equipment and respective data reduction.2. Reading of concerning scientific bibliography, 3. Carrying out the digital processing of the airglow imager, 4. Carrying out the digital processing of the Digisonde data, 5. Carrying out of the research project, 6. Preparation of the term report for FAPESP. These items are described ahead. (AU)
