Medicinal chemistry: synthesis and bioactivity of metalized organo chalcones with transition elements and related compounds

Abstract

Synthesis of new (and improvements in the synthesis or some recently described) bioactive organometallic ferrocenyl chalcones, based on the modifications of the classical Claisen-Schmidt aldol condensation. The new methodologies were developed bi variation of the nature of the catalytic base employed, variation of the reactions conditions and use of unsual methodologies as ultrasound, microwave irradiation etc...
