Abstract

The main goal of this work is to study trajectories for groups of particles that pass by a massive body. The basic ideia is to extend analytical equations that we find in the literature to consider a cloud of particles passing by a celestial body. Then, numerical simulations will be done to validate the precision of the equations developed in the work. A cloud of particles like the one which will be analised here can be created by the explosion of an artificial satellite or a natural celestial body, like an asteroid or a moon from the solar system. The main topic to be investigated is the modification caused in the cloud trajectory at all, as well as to verify the behaviour of this cloud after its passage by the massive celestial body. The effect of the passage of this cloud of particles by a bigger celestial body in 3 dimensions will be analised in details, in this way, complementing studies partially done, in the planar case, by the supervisor of this purpose.
