Abstract This project for an undergraduate student has as proposal the preparation of dihydroisoquinolinones and tetrahydroisoquinolines from Morita-Baylis-Hillman adducts using a new synthethic approach. This approach is based on the utilization of a ozonolyis reaction of the silylated adducts, followed by a reductive amination step. (AU)
