It is known that almost the totality of the developed scientific works in Brazil and other countries is carried through with year-old calves and fillies, as demonstrated in compiled literature, with very little attention for the animals of the ovina and goat species. Scarce data with regard to the clinical alterations and of the sanguine components in just-born lambs deriving of cesarianas exist. Without a doubt, the advances of the biotechnology (FIV, clonagens) have brought great benefits to cattle the national one, mainly in what it refers to to the fast genetic improvement of the flocks. However, some problems have been observed in result of the same ones, such as: a) bigger intervention to the works of childbirth in virtue of the raised tax of distocias in females primíparas, caused for its small pelvic diameter and/or the great size of the products generated for the advanced techniques of conception; e b) necessity of better and more intensive assistance to the just-been born one, for the development of innumerable organic and functional alterations (acidoses respiratory and metabolic, cardiac imperfection of transference of passive immunity, hipertensão, arrhythmias, extreme espessamento of the umbilical lace, etc). However, few professionals know and militate in the pediatrics area veterinary medicine, being necessary more research that makes possible important information to the colleagues, so that the procedures during the perinatal period have success and assist in the reduction of the tax of mortality of the just-been born animals cattle.
