Abstract This project proposes to analyzes how the prisoners` families deal with the social consequences of the arrest in their daily lives, taking into consideration the changes caused by the arrest and the situation of vulnerability of the families after the imprisonment of one of their members. It is important to emphasize that the denial in providing the social security benefit "Incarceration Aid" also influences this situation that will be studied more specifically in the present research. Thus, the research will be carried out with the families of the prisoners attended by the Project "Incarceration Aid" that is developed by the Legal and Social Office - UNESP/Franca (CJS) through interviews using the recording technique. The CJS is a place where the researcher takes her curricular period of training and will serve as an empirical space to develop the study. | |
