Abstract

Tends in view the impact that the herbicides can cause in the is of great importance the development of techniques for the decontamination of areas with high concentrations of these products. The present study will have as purpose to evaluate efficiency of vegetable species in the phytoremediation of the diclosulam and the imazaquim herbicides. In the first part of the project, accomplished in house-of-vegetation, they will be appraised the phytoremediation capacity of 15 vegetable species. The experiment will be delineated in blocks at random, with four repetitions. The treatments will be disposed in factorial 15 x 3 being constituted by fifteen vegetable species, and three doses of each herbicide, more witness without herbicide application. To determine the selectivity of the herbicides to the species, they will be appraised the visual intoxication caused by the product to the plants, the height of plants and the mass of dry matter of the aerial part, of the roots and of the total of the plant. The second part of the project will be accomplished in field. The experiment will be set up following factorial outline "n" x 2 x 2, where "n" is the number of vegetable species pré-selected in the previous experiment, with 2 herbicides (diclosulan and imazaquim) and 2 doses, in the blocks at random, with four repetitions. The sowing of the species will be accomplished one day after the application of the herbicide. The species will be monitored by 60 days after germination. After that period, the aerial part of all the plants will be picked, and they will be sowed corn, in the case of the imazaquim and sunflower in the case of diclosulam. These cultures will be monitored for more 60 days. To the end of that period they will be appraised height of plants, biomass dries of the aerial part, symptoms of phytotoxicity of the plants and area to foliate (AF) in the corn plants and sunflower
