Abstract

Creativity has been seen as one of the responsible characteristics for the welfare of the individual in the measure where it facilitates its adaptation to the way, allowing to this to reach its personal and professional accomplishment. To measure this characteristic has not been, historically, an easy task, due to complexity of this construct and of the unprevisible that always the creative phenomenon folloies. However, we know the importance attributed to the researcher to find forms to carry through this identification, so that each time more precociously children and adolescents can have its stimulated creativity. Leaving of the perception of this necessity, an instrument called Brazilian Test of Figural Creativity was created for evaluation of the creativity in children and adolescents of 1st 8th grades to Elementary School. This instrument had the processes of carried through validity and precision, having reached levels that had taken care of to the psychometrics parameters of instrument construction, determined for the Federal Advice of Psychology (2001). Thus, the present project has as objective to work the data that had been collected during the process of norming of the form instrument to carry through more complex analyses (percentile, standardized result, factorial analysis and TRI), what it will allow to the specific table elaboration of correction for sex, series, region of housing and type of school, completing the process of construction and adequacy of the instrument for publication. Also it is intended to carry through new studies of validation, comparing it with the test Creating Metaphors, also developed for evaluation of the creativity and in phase of study for the group which intends filiation.
