Abstract

The unpublised lectures entitled Du gouvernement des vivants, given by Michel Foucault at the Collège de France in 1980, was an important moment in the governmentality studies. In 1978, in the lectures Sécurité, territoire, population, Foucault introduced the problem of government and the first shift that took the language of domination to the arts of government, marking the deployment of its analysis in terms of governmentality with the study on the reason of state and neo-liberalism as technologies of government. In the lectures of 1980 retake the governmentality study in the axis true-subjectivity by introducing a second shift that led the power-knowledge theme for the issue of the government of men for the truth in the form of subjectivity. From this shift, Foucault opens an intellectual posture that called anarchaeology of knowledge. The project aims describe these shifts in the analytical power of Foucault placing own importance in the governmentality studies, in order to investigate what implications the anarchaeology down with the anarchist thought of Pierre-Joseph Proudhon, Paul Feyerabend e Gilles Deleuze. The approach has two movements: attempt to understand the importance that the shift power-knowledge/true-subjectivity occupies in the analysis of governmentality; the neologism anarchaeology its perceived as the description of a history of the force of truth in the West. The research aims to understand the work of Proudhon and Foucault, and also in the related thinkers such as Feyerabend and Deleuze, setting a new and original research characterized by an approach anarchaeologycal.
