In a society where practically all information is supplied through the writing, its correct domain becomes essential. To write it is necessary that if it has a series of preset abilities, as adjusted cognition, linguistic capacity, fine motor coordination and other abilities related to the social and cultural context of the individual. It is through the writing that knowledge are transmitted inside of a society, of generation for generation. The capacity to tell events appears with the domain of the verbal language, where the child starts to tell its proper experiences. This capacity soon is transmitted to the writing. Being, therefore the written language a continuation of the verbal language, suffering interferences from this.In contrast of language verbal, where it is enough that the child is inserted in an environment where the language is used, for the full development of the writing is necessary that are transmitted information to the child of the formal aspects of the language and teachings as to the graphical code. Thus, the processing of the language is related to the difficulties of the learning of reading and writing. It is understood as processing of the language the perceptual and cognitive activities underlying to the acquisition, agreement and adequate use of the language. The tests of phonological conscience are classified as perceptual activities, for example. Being this the conscience of that the said language can be segmented in distinct units, that is, the phrase can be segmented in words; the words, in syllables and the syllables, in phones and that these same units can be happened again in different words. Therefore must be understood as a prerequisite one for the correct development of the process of acquisition of the writing. The literal production is a difficult task, that involves many processes. Therefore, in the case of children with written language disorders, this task reveals still more complicated, because the prerequisite ones for its accomplishment can be absent or deficit. The application of an evaluation protocol is a tool that will be able to help to better understand the origin of these difficulties, objectifying to promote practical of phonological therapy established in evidences, favoring the development of ways so that the individual faces its difficulties. Thus, the objective of this research is the application of a protocol of evaluation considered for Santos (2007) in carriers of alterations of written language, to verify its capacity of literal production.
