Study on new techniques of urban rehabilitation aiming at the adaptation to climate changes

Abstract

This research's goal is to proportionate the student's contact with the recent innovations related with the problematic of climate change's impact on the comfort of human settlements and on the increase of extreme events. These social and environmental impacts will demand new ways of projecting, producing and living the cities. In a society with great inequalities and scarcity of public resources, it is necessary to verify the solution's effectiveness as its environmental justice factor. The main activities to be developed on this research are the analysis on recent bibliography on the subject and study urban projects of interest, selected of contexts and verify its adaptability on the Brazilian reality.
