Abstract

The research project consists to apply a Dynamical AdS/QCD model developed in my PhD work to calculate hadron observables. It is a new solution of five-dimensional gravity coupled to a dilaton dynamically which encodes the essential features of QCD in the holographic dimension background where the string modes dual to hadrons are built. First, the model was used recently by us to calculate the mass spectrum of the light-flavored natural-parity mesons. Also, the scalar and pseudo-scalar mesons were described within the model. The next step is to calculate heavy mesons, baryons and the pomeron Regge trajectories. In addition, the model will be used to investigate the decay constants of light vector-mesons (rho and its excited states), pseudo scalar mesons and the pion form factor in the space- and time-like regions, and develop these ideas to apply to Generalized Parton Distributions (GPD).
