Abstract This research aims to examine the National Security Doctrine and, more specifically, its influence over the intelligence services in Brazil, from the creation of the National Intelligence Service on June 13, 1964, with the premise that this was the major organ system. For this, we analyzed the regional and national conjunctures of time, as the concepts of the Cold War, national security, nation, and the influence of anticommunism in the training of ESG information. We will study the major national aspects of the National Security Doctrine, as well as the stipulations have been adapted and adopted by the INS, by making this inference by examining documents elementary, such as Law No. 4341 of June 13 1964 (Act which created the SNI), and Decree No. 68448 of 31 March 1971 establishing the National School of Information (ESNI). | |
