Study of functional assessment tools in dementia used in Brazil

Abstract

This research is about identify the assessment tools in dementia applied in Brazil. For this will be access data base LILACS, PUBMED, Scielo and Portal Periódicos CAPES (thesis data) to arrange the articles related to functional assessment tools in dementia. Based in these results, we will make a qualitative analysis of the instruments used, searching to identify the use of some Scientific Advisory Committee of the Medical Outcomes Trust (SAC) criteria, such as reliability, cross -cultural adaptation and validity. Lather on, these instruments will be classified for purpose of use and activities group. The proposition of this research is to identify the assessment tools used more often and if these are validities to the Portuguese language. (AU)
