The present work consists of the specification, development and implementation of an image acquisition system that represents a laboratory model of a satellite attitude control system. The system will be based in a CCD camera, an automatic mechanical system for the camera displacement and a measurement system in order to estimate the CCD relative position. The system will be able to acquire the data by a RS 232 channel feed by a microchip microcontroller. A visualization software will be available in a PC in order to adjust yhe acquisition system.
