Abstract In this project we aim to study some diffusion and transport properties of a time-dependent Hamiltonian system, as well as characterize chaotic phenomena in the dynamics of this system. Through the analyzes of the Fermi-Ulam-Livorati model, we intend to investigate how the transport properties are influenced by the various islands of stability, thus associating the phenomenon of stickiness in the phase space. By varying the control parameters, we aim to obtain analytical laws that describe the transport of orbits in phase space in different dynamic scenarios and we will seek to study possible scaling laws considering the escape formalism. | |
